They made us feel welcome and provided excellent service.

The hotel could benefit from some updates and renovations. There were signs of wear and tear in some areas, such as faded wallpaper and rattling windows, which could use some attention.

Convenient location, historic ambiance, good breakfast buffet, helpful staff, comfortable bed. Card and gift for my daughter's birthday was a thoughtful touch.

Gorgeous accommodation, exceptionally attentive staff, favourable location right on seafront.

We had a fantastic stay at this beach front hotel right on the seafront. The location was perfect, being on the promenade in the nicer part of the city, with great views of the sea front. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, and the staff provided excellent service. The breakfast selection was amazing, with a wide variety of options including a full English breakfast and a great selection of fruits and pastries.

I stayed at this place recently and it was amazing! The location was stunning, right by the sea. The room service was great - always clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome. The room itself had everything I needed, including tea and coffee facilities, and a comfy bed. I could not have asked for more!

Our room was clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a fridge. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. The breakfast was delicious, with a buffet style that meant no long queues. We also loved the pool area, although we didn't use it much. But the best part was definitely the location, directly across the beach and on the nicer part of town.

That the lift to the higher floors was out of order, which made it difficult for some guests to reach their rooms.

We appreciated the hotel, it was grand old and had absolutely perfect location really close to seafront, north pier and the tower and a tram stop. Everything was simply excellent.

The staff at Imperial Hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We had an issue with our initial room, but Alison, a lovely lady at the front desk, swiftly resolved the issue by providing us with a new and outstanding room on a different floor. The team was extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, making us feel truly valued as guests. The breakfast was more than adequate and satisfied our appetites in the morning. Additionally, the hotel's historical charm added a unique touch to our experience. The spacious and comfortable bedroom, along with the well-finished and clean bathroom, made our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

Very nice stay in the lovely area. I thoroughly enjoyed the reception, it was nice. Beds were comfy, everything was perfect.

The standard twin room that we stayed in was airy and normal double. We loved having an electronic key card, a work desk and a seating area which was good.

There were very uncomfortable beds.

The place was spotlessly clean, I loved its staff and food. The room was normal double with extremely comfy beds. The restaurant was nice and served excellent food. Nothing too much trouble, I had a lovely stay and would return there.
